Legacies

No one wants to think too hard about their mortality, however leaving funds to the Centre is a way to show your appreciation of the work done here, perhaps to fund a special project that particularly interests you or a member of your family. Or just to commemorate a special life with something that will last into the future.

These legacies are very, very useful to us and so if you feel that the work the Centre does is worthwhile, please consider leaving some funds in your Will – after all, it has to be better than letting the Tax man have any of it.

About five years ago we were nearly left a quarter of a million pounds. Because we did not have charitable status and the Will stipulated that, we could not benefit, but our Trust, the National Birds of Prey Trust did, and is doing sterling work with the funds.

I often imagine what we could have done at the Centre with those funds – oh boy, a ton of good work. So if you feel that you would like to benefit the birds long term and help us, please do consider putting our name in your Will.
