Half Day Photo Experience Course

Although many of our visitors can get wonderful photographs of our birds because they are probably more accessible than many Centres, nevertheless, sometimes it is great to be able to have a bird put on a natural perch, away from the rest of our visitors just for you to photograph.

So why not come on a half day, which means you would get special access during the morning flying demonstration, and three to four birds taken to quieter parts of the Centre one at a time with one of our staff, placed on a natural perch and you given the time to get some cracking photographs. They will be wearing their normal jesses, so it might mean you want to use Photoshop afterwards, but in my book that is perfectly acceptable. I tend to laugh at the purists who state it is cheating as I fully remember my father who was a professional photographer, and got some stunning photos of raptors, doing a fair bit of manipulation in the dark room as did all professionals, so don’t let people bully you on that one! Come along and have a great day at the oldest and best known bird of prey centre in the world and get some wonderful experiences with the birds and your camera.

You can buy this half day for yourself and book immediately or buy a voucher as a present.
